Heidi J. Loos is a queer, feminist writer and filmmaker from Whitehorse, Yukon. She believes that all art is political and every project has the ability to have a huge impact on it’s audience and therefore, change the world. This is why she is so passionate about creating stories, films, projects, and events that move people. She has a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Creative Writing and Women’s and Gender Studies from the University of British Columbia. She loves to collaborate with other artists and is always up for a challenge!
When she’s not busy creating, she’s playing roller derby, drinking pumpkin-spiced lattes, and taking selfies with her dog, Darla.
